George Retherwood was the proud owner of a local mining company, and was wed to a beautiful judge's daughter named Betrus 'Betty' Bryant. He fathered four beautiful, wonderful daughters, Jessica Mae, Brianna Marie, Christina Mary, and Florence Martha. George's first cousin, and arch enemy, James Kentmore, also wed a beautiful judge's daughter named Helen Fort. He also had four beautiful daughters and one well manered son. George and James competed with each other scence they where little children. If George had something, James had to have it, only better. James also owned a mining company who was famous for striking oil in the Mid-West.

The Retherwood Mansion (built in eighteen ninety-four) and the Kentmore Mansion (built in eighteen ninety-six) where built as two different homes. Each home consisted of eighteen bedrooms, nine bathrooms, three living areas, two kitchens and sat on twenty-four acres of land, each. The cousins had to have exactly everything at more valued priced. But one day, the price came to soon for some. In nineteen o'nine, James's daughter Melinda, who was the youngest of five children passed away from pnumonia. The same year, only five months after Melinda's death, James's wife also passed away from pnumonia. He never got over the loss of his daughter and wife, and was convinced that George had something to do with it. George protested stating that he would never hurt an innocent child or the mother under any circumstances, but James wouldn't listen. On a cold December night of nineteen tweleve, James Kentmore murdered George, his wife, and his four daughters. Then took his own life.

The year is two-thousand and eight. Ninety-six years after the horrible murder of the Retherwood Family. Both the Retherwood Mansion and the Kentmore Mansion stand un-occupied. Noone has lived there scence the nineteen fourty's, when the last families suddenly moved leaving all there belonging behind. There have been reports of the night the murders happened, being replayed. James's spirt killing the Retherwoods then himself. Are they true? Are people just telling wise-tells?

Welcome to Ghost Island! Home of the world's biggest Salad Sculpture! There are a total of three hundred fourty-six people, and most of them are between the ages of fifteen and twenty-five. Ghost Island is home of the world famous 'Ghost Town' amusement park and their famous 'Rowdy Home Bar-B-Q's'. They're also home of one of the most famous murders in all of the early Twentyth Century. Every year on Halloween Day, they host a festival. But that night, they have a bon-fire outside the old mansions. Then, at tweleve o'clock, five of the bravest souls travel in each of the houses, hoping for a glimps of the ghosts. Halloween time has come again. Time for kids to dig out there costumes and for parents to dig out there money for halloween candy. The super-tendents of the town (mostly the members of the PTA) help put up decorations all over the small town of Rhode Island. Will you be one to venture into the houses, or will you just be attending the festival?
